Written in PHP4 and MySQL, SciMan is a software system which allows the administrator to manage the content (add/delete/edit) and the date on which the content will be syndicated. It has been written to provide a content management and syndication system for Sci&Tech personalities (hi s/her name, lifetime, brief profile and a complete profile); but can be easily modified to adapt to a different situation. The highlights are: Image storage and manipulation; Small syndication script where content can be easily integrated to any website; Easy navigation system while managing the system; and Configuration file, database structures and functions are separated to achieve certain degree of modularity.
