Bolinos is an object-oriented modular publication and communication platform to enable through a 'virtual desktop' and wysiwyg + multimedia cut and paste editing capabilities, simple management and creation of complex multimedia portals. Based on PHP, Apache, and mySQL, Bolinos includes agenda, multiaccount email client, groups and forums management, multimedia albums, image manipulation, phpMyAdmin modules and more. Integrates server side cache and binary document generation for backups and automatic cd-rom creation. It is also the first open source CMS to offer Palm devices authoring integration. Can be used to replace client dependant web authoring software.
