It uses cookie to store the variable in user's computer. The user can always have his/her favorite theme of your site when s/he visits your site. You can use it for css/xml based ased webpages as well as regular html pages. Unlike many other scripts, my script changes ANYWHERE on the website without having to go back to a default "theme change" page. You may have unique templates for special sections on your website.
