Zoom is a free package for web developers to easily add a powerful custom search engine to a website. Fast search results are made possible by indexing your website in advance. Unlike other solutions relying on server-side software, Zoom does this from the convenience of your own Windows computer. Features include: spider & offline indexing modes, wildcard searches, windows GUI indexer, relevance scoring, user search logging, configurable exclusion sections, duplicate page detection, and lots more. There are also Standard and Pro editions available which support bigger websites, and searching through .DOC and .PDF files. PHP or ASP is required for the search front-end.
