Netster allows users to easily find files that are shared on aed on a windows (smb) network. Users can add their own shared files to the netster database, netster will then rescan the shared directories automatically by using a cron job. When a search is performed, netster uses MySQL's FULLTEXT search to find the most appropriate results, which will be displayed as links for downloading the files. Netster's colors and fonts can be easily customized in a config file. Netster is written in PHP 4 and requires samba to be installed.
